Sabrosa is a 23 year old Argentine Thoroughbred mare who stands about 14.3 hands. She just retired out of polo.  Although a senior, Sabrosa is not lazy and is best suited for someone who enjoys a more forward ride.  We have started showing her in hunter under saddle, hunter equitation on the flat and trail and she has done very well.  She is not herdbound and does not mind riding out away from other horses. She is very specific that she does not ride with a curb chain - snaffle or bitless for this girl!   Too sensitive for lessons - Sabrosa will prefer an experienced rider who is well balanced and uses light cues.  Sabrosa's adoption fee is $1000.  You can find an application and more information here on our website under "how to adopt."
