Most of our horses are former polo ponies or Off-the-track Thoroughbreds (OTTB's).  Horses that are serviceably sound are offered for adoption; horses that need retirement are kept here and sponsors are sought to assist with their costs. Our adopted horses have jobs as lesson horses, trail horses, showing dressage or low hunters.  We generally do not permit our adopted horses to return to polo (except pee wee polo!)

 

All adoptable horses are up to date on teeth, feet, shots, and have received a general examination by a veterinarian including checking eyes, heart and lungs.  We welcome more in-depth vet checks by prospective adopters.
