RETIRED HORSES
We take in a limited number of horses who have physical or mental issues to the point that retirement is appropriate. These horses need sponsors to ensure that they may live out their lives receiving the excellent care they deserve! Please click on "How to Help," above, to learn more.
Martona is a 16 year old Argentine mare who unfortunately cannot stay sound to ride although she sure looks good running around in the field!
Heaven is a 7 year old Thoroughbred mare with arthritic knees from racing.
Fenna is a 15 year old Argentine Thoroughbred mare who fractured an ankle playing polo and is now a retiree.
Correntina joined us in August 2023. She has kissing spine and will be a permanent resident!
U2 was returned from an adopter in September 2022. Due to his age and current soundness, we have decided he will stay with us as a retiree now.
Cassie is an approximately 26 year old Thoroughbred mare who joined us in June 2022.
Daphne is a 13 year old Thoroughbred mare who was not handled until she was 11.
Charlotte is an 18 year old Thoroughbred mare. She is with us temporarily until she goes home in spring 2024 to her original breeder's daughter!
Gypsy was returned by an adopter in October 2019 and due to her age we decided she would stay with us. She is a 26 year old Thoroughbred mare.
